The appeal was decided at the district level on August 7, 2007.
At that point, Lucas had 30 days to file an appeal.
It is now September 8. Unless she filed it secretly, it appears she has done the right thing, and dropped the appeal to focus on beating her opponents for the Neabsco School Board chair.
While Lucas is not the officially endorsed "republican" candidate, I am happy to announce my support for her for the School Board, as she will no doubt be MUCH better than either of the other two candidates.
I am HAPPY that Lucas is available to win that seat, because it would have been bad news had either of her opponents made it onto the school board.
