I join Julie Lucas in her call to end the bickering.

I was going to post a point-by-point rebuttal for Julie's e-mail, posted in full below. But it's not really my fight. And there were a few things she said that I agree with, and rather than continue the fighting, I'd like to take her up on her call to civility and unity of purpose.

To wit, Julie made the following statements in her e-mail:

I would like to be able to resolve this issue so we can move on to select the best Republican candidate, and ultimately win in November.
...
Whatever issue the Party as a whole has with these actions, we must not allow this to promote infighting among our Party members.

I understand that is just two lines from a rather long e-mail, most of which was in opposition to these statements. But still, if her supporters are willing to follow her lead, I'll be happy to as well.

If her supporters find no reason to respond to Julie's leadership, I may have to resurrect my analysis. I hope that will not be necessary.
